"There were quite a lot of steps outside to climb to get to our room but it was a lovely room once inside with a nice modern shower room. "Nice country pub with a cozy atmosphere. Our room was great, really clean and well presented, comfy bed and pillows, en-suite bathroom with a good shower and a decent size. Owners provided a fan which was very welcome during this current heatwave. We were greeted by Jacob in reception, really helpful, polite and respectful and he showed us to our room. "Very nice chalet indeed. I was only there for one night as i was working in the hospital. And sadly didn't get much chance to look around the farm and animals. But the chalets are set in beautiful surroundings. Inside the chalets there is a small but functional kitchenette with fridge, microwave a plug in hob and all the utensils you could need. "The hotel is ok, we had a twin room in the cottage lodge, no 526, it was quite a walk from reception. Most of the staff were helpful and cheerful. The hotel is looking somewhat dated, the room needed a good deep clean, shower head and bath mat needed replacing, I did write this to the manger in the initial check in review, as we were only staying 1 night it wasn’t worth complaining about. The car park needs re signing as cars didn’t know which way to go round!"
