"I love the look of this hotel. It's amazing to be able to look up 18 stories and then to go up to the 18th story and look down. All in all the hotel appears to be very well kept. However, I was surprised that at the top of the ceiling in the main atrium some of ceiling was hanging down possibly from water damage which took away from the beauty. Also the elevator door is looked worn in the main lobby on the outside. But other than that everything inside was great. Free fruit water in the lobby. I was not very impressed with the area. Same kind of rundown. I didn't feel entirely safe walking around but it wasn't terrible and it certainly not the hotel's fault. All in all a great experience. Good view as well."

"Overall we had a great first time trip to KY. The hotel provides a full breakfast and “dinner” each day but it lacked in variety. We were underwhelmed by the cleanliness of our room. The linens were dirty, there was vomit in the carpet and the furniture stank. We were disappointed in the bathroom amenities for the price we paid. The hotel is conveniently close to a grocery store, many restaurants and shops. There’s easy on/off hwy access to The Expo Center, which is only 11 miles away, as well as Churchill Downs and the Nulu Neighborhood. Plus, there’s a Waffle House across the street!"
