"I would describe the stay as travelodge level rooms- fairly basic. Probably a 2-3 star stat. Standard of cleanliness isn’t great- the room had a faint smell of damp or urines. The mugs in the room were also dirty
The facilities were surprisingly impressive- a good sized pool and proper gym.
We stayed here and spent the first day in Portsmouth and the second day in Chichester. It’s a good and accessible location."

"Accommodation areas being renovated, so bit untidy at the moment.
Public areas very nice, restaurants excellent, and the staff were wonderful. I will stay here again if I am in Portsmouth."

"What a fantastic hotel. Had a lovely room overlooking the sea. Hotel was extremely clean, food was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and also access to the sister hotel next door. What more

"Extremely dog friendly, loved that the dog friendly rooms opened onto the courtyard garden (enclosed). The walks are beautiful/ stunning. Dogs welcome in the restaurants. Highly recommend."

"The breakfast buffet was excellent. Good variety of food with fresh fruit.
The spa was disappointing. Wanted to use it for relaxing in the evenings but staff wanted to shut down sauna and steam rooms about 45 minutes before the scheduled closing times. There was no 'relaxing area' to use between using the sauna and steam rooms. "

"Dusty room in areas. Rubbish behind bedside cabinet. Couldn’t get to plug easily to charge my phone as it was behind the cabinet and when pulled out there was thick dust and rubbish behind it. No deep clean for a long time.
Dirty windows, old cobwebs around it. Pool was not in use so very disappointed as we had stayed there for this reason. "
