"Lovely old building with lots of history , well situated in the heart of Ledbury so close to shops , restaurants , pubs etc . Staff were very friendly and helpful . We had an evening meal which was enjoyable and service was excellent. Great choice for breakfast and once again the service was good and efficient. The room was adequate , bed was comfortable and linen clean . It was quirky as befitting a 500 year old property with sloping floors . Bathroom was small as was the shower but that’s to be expected. My only negative comment is that the shower wasn’t the cleanest , tiles and grouting were black with mould . All it needs is a good scrub . We would visit again ."

"Lovely one night stay. We knew room was small when we booked but it had everything we needed. Clean comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. We couldn't get radiator to come on but we found the thermostat by the door in the morning. The pub itself was welcoming. Breakfast facilities was great. Would definately stay again"

"An old building with historic interest situated in a town with many interesting old building which is well worth a walk around. The staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meals and Sunday carvery were tasty and specials were explained. A thing to note is that there is no lift so mobility needs to be good to walk up stairs which was not a problem for us. Enjoyed our stay here and will be back next year as still much more to explore in the ares"
