"No AC so room (especially bathroom) was super hot. There was a fan and window opened, although it was so noisy outside. Small room for 5 people. Carpet runner in hallway kept tripping everybody. Great location, few minutes from Paddington station, Hyde park, etc."

"It’s a picturesque old pub with an extensive garden area and a large parking space. It’s quite classy indoors and we were impressed by both the sophisticated dinner menu and the food itself - very good.We were welcomed warmly and shown to the Cowdray Room, which opens on to the beer garden. That wasn’t a problem as the pub closes at 10, and then it was an advantage as we were able to sit outside for breakfast with the place to ourselves. The pub will cook breakfast but not until 10.30 am, so...

"Loved this place! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, they had free Wi-Fi so I could work, and the room was very clean. My only gripe is there wasn't any amenities such as a way to buy or fill up my water."

"We like the location as it's very tranquil, 10-15 minutes walk to Hammersmith Station. Good restaurants nearby. We had one meal in the bar which was very nice. The room is very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. They will help you with your luggage if asked. There is no lift to the rooms. Our room 1 is right next to the stairs so you will hear people hauling luggage late at night after arrival or checking out early in the morning. I understand in the old days the sink has the hot...
