"The lamp next to the bed was dusty and had dead bugs on it. There was no pillowcases in the pillow you have to walk two businesses over to get to the front desk. No way to contact the front desk directly. There was a party with a bonfire happening outside my door from 9:30-12am. Had a child screaming (like a 10 year old) right outside my door at 11:20ish. I have a 1 1/2 year old so trying to go to sleep was hard. Mind you the hotel states that “quiet time” is at 10 and it’s “strictly enforced”. Could not get the door to the beachside open. When I let the front desk know the next morning that there was no pillowcases cases on the pillows and we had to cover them with sheets she just rolled her eyes. I will never stay here again."

Chateau Beachfront Hotel, A By The Sea Resort

"The location is the best thing about this property. The pool looked nice although we did not use it. The beach access is super easy. Our room was Ocean view which was very nice. The check-in process was very simple, but the staff was not very friendly and did not provide any information outside of handing us a room key. The exterior was very old and rundown. The bathroom in our room desperately needs updating. The tub was not clean however, the sink and countertop have been updated and that part was clean and fresh. Our king bed was comfortable with clean sheets so that was a relief. They need doormats to wipe the sand as there is no carpet in the room. The small balcony had two chairs with a great view, but the AC unit was leaking onto the floor, causing a huge puddle with mildew, gross. The small tiki bar was a nice benefit, but the drinks are overpriced for the surroundings at that hotel. Our room rate was way too high, but we booked very late and it was the only thing left available in the area. It was a sufficient day for one night because we only used the room to shower and sleep. But I would not return to this property."

Seahaven Beach Hotel

"We enjoyed our view of the Gulf from our 3rd floor balcony and easy access to the beach. Across the street is a cute 50’s All American Diner for and affordable Breakfast buffet as this hotel has no food included. There is a mini fridge and microwave if you need. We had neighbors above our balcony that smoked pot almost the whole time so I guess that’s something you might have to experience. If you forget any beach or need drinks and snack items there are a few stores across the street as well. As for the room again, we slept good, enjoyed our stay and appreciated the 2 bedroom suite that was ready when we arrived with a friendly check in and we were able to get a late check out with no problem."
