"The property needs some looking after. Generally, it looks as it if needs maintenance and staff. The entrance to the stair way had bird poop all over the railings. And it stay there the entire trip ( 5 days). There was no elevator and I stayed on the top floor. My room was nice due to the space however, the other rooms I booked (3 additional) were okay but the beds were extremely small. There was no toilet tissue nor any complimentary towels like that. "This was my first time and not sure if I will be back. The rooms are not sound proof at all. It seems like the other guest were in my room. The security guards allowed my driver to enter the gated property once only during my 3 day stay. We made complaints and nothing was done about it. Instead of lifting the gate to allow my taxi driver in, we had to get out each time and walk around in order to enter the hotel. "This property offers free breakfast with your reservation. We were told that if we wanted lunch or dinner, we had to order the day before. But, breakfast was not ordered in advance as it is included with the room rate. The next day we were ready for breakfast, but the lady in charge of the restaurant had pretty much nothing to offer. Only one of us got a pair of eggs and toast, and the other one got spinach sautéed and toast."

"The home was authentic Jamaican, gated and secure. I arrived late in the day with an emerging dental emergency. The next morning this required immediate attention. The Hostess Tamara walked with me to a nearby Dental Centre to be successfully treated. As I returned and departed for the International Airport, the host Shane taxied me to the airport for a flat $25 rate as advertised, (airport taxis were asking for $35-$45 for the same transport.) The hosts were welcoming, attentive and gracious....

"I loved everything about it! It's peaceful, quiet, friendly staff who leave you alone and don't bother you about anything, normal amenities like tea, bottles of cold water and snacks. If you get the 2nd floor I think you would have a very nice view as well. Also I'm a single female traveler from abroad The rooms are safe and you can bolt lock them from inside. The AC is kicking. Loved my stay and will be back soon."
