"The RIU London The Westminster is in a very good location for touring London. The hotel is well maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast offers a good assortment of fruits, pastries, eggs, cold cuts, and coffee. The housekeeping staff was generally good, but I didn’t quite understand why they didn’t remove the empty beer bottles the following day or replaced the used coffee mugs with fresh ones the following. It wasn’t a major issue, but it did stand out compared to the otherwise strong service. Perhaps I needed to set the items out side the door. Extremely happy with ability to refill water bottles at a water dispenser located in the hallway. This is an excellent idea. All staff interactions were excellent!"

"My rating and review may be a bit mismatched. This is a great stay if you are looking for a place to sleep, shower, and plug in your electronics. There aren’t really any amenities. The staff was very nice during each interaction, it was a 5-10 min walk to the Victoria Station and the neighborhood was wonderfully safe when returning late at night. I booked the same day for my 2-night stay and was given a 3rd-floor room. Nothing else was available. There is NO lift. I’m 56 yrs old and luckily in good health and was able to get myself and my carry-on up to my room. The room was incredibly small but I wanted a place to sleep comfortably not hang out. There was no refrigerator or closet to hang clothes, iron etc. The bathroom was also very small and reminded me of the bathroom on airplanes if they added a shower. If I were any larger, I’m not sure how I would have used the bathroom or showered comfortably. The air conditioning worked fine, and the water was hot with good pressure. I slept well every night and enjoyed my time in London. I would stay again."

"Very modern hotel and room was great - nice temperature, bed , very quiet and dark!!! Shower was awesome Breakfast was ok and quite busy Wish their were more creative options for breakfast and scrambled eggs from a mix a bit disappointing"

"We were part of the historic misery at Heathrow when UK flights were all cancelled. The Rest Up London was a fantastic lifesaver for us! Of particular note was the night manager who calmed us and cared for us. I will forever remember his kindness and hospitality. I will also remember the spotless facility, the clean linens and bathrooms, the excellent breakfast and the warm, congenial atmosphere of The Rest Up London."
