"The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. Loved the access to the beach and the pool was very nice. The Sunrise view from my balcony was absolutely stunning!!"

"Q Although I enjoyed the stay, one elevator not working was a pain. Also, I left my room and when I returned the balcony door was wide open. In addition, the one large towel in my room was on the furniture drying out. When I returned it was gone and there was no replacement. I used wash clothes to dry myself off. The person at the desk when I checked in, was very nice. Lastly, I stay in holiday inn express hotels regularly. I love the breakfast. Neither day was bacon."

"Our check-in experience was wonderful and easily taken care of and full of information about the property. The lobby is beautifully renovated and seems to be more renovations going on with this property. We were disheartened to have booked and paid more for an ocean view/pool view and learned upon check-in that our pool was not open. Our beautiful ocean view included an empty pool going through cement patching process but didn't realize until we unpacked. The outdoor game area was well mowed around but there was alot of grass on the playing area. There are many patio groups located on concrete pads that were nice to use for setting outside and enjoying the view. Our room was clean and very large with new countertops, appliances and furniture. The location is prime for Daytona Beach Shores and easy access for driving or uber. They have a very nice selection of donuts and juice in the morning on the second floor. We also rented an additional room for 2 others traveling with us and it was a garden view room which is a room located in a solarium with one of the pools and a hot tub. If booking I would find it easier and better to call the property to see what is available to decide on room location. Check out was wonderful and was well greeted even though it was busy with others already checking in."

"Great location got a free upgrade to a ocean view, but the beach is a lot smaller than it used to be last time I was there"
