"Lovely place to stay! The owners are fabulous and the surroundings (working vineyard & farm) are beautiful. Mine was only a one night stay but would love to revisit when I have more time. Hi speed internet worked great. Bed was amazingly comfortable & there was a kitchenette with table & chairs. Huge closet, full size fridge & microwave. The front porch is a delight. I was on a fast trip to look for horses in Bath, NC. It was well worth the 40 minute drive. Would have loved to ride the free...

"This is a great place for the value to stay for a single or a couple. I have stayed multiple times and it is always clean, the family that runs it is very helpful, the TV works great. No real complaints other than the bathroom is small but the shower and hot water works great. It’s not sprawling glitzy and glamorous as the bigger hotels, but I would 100% stay there again, and my wife stayed with me a couple of times and she was perfectly fine staying there again."

Access to property difficult. Climate control of overall property hallways and room had a damp feel in the air. King bed was lumpy. "Place was a dump! Definitely not worth the hundreds a night it was! The egg patties were hard, the gym is a storage unit and was unavailable. The room was dirty feeling. Got the suite with the room spa and the spa tub was gross! I had to ask for cleaning supplies to clean it myself and that didn’t even help much just made me feel a tiny bit better knowing I cleaned it! "This hotel and it's staff were very helpful to my wife and I during a very difficult time. Booked this hotel during my mother's funeral and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. 3 days straight our flights back to Rhode Island was canceled due to lack of an itinerary and all 3 times they accommodated our stay on a moments notice. Not only did we have to rebook the room, we had to rebook our rental as well. We became so well known to staff that it felt as though we knew them...

"This property was a delightful place to stay. I have rated as 5-star across the board. The only detraction was that the majority of the house is on a single thermostat, thus you cannot control the temperature in your room and our room was cooler than we would have preferred. We were told that if we were to stay here again, ask about the one or two rooms that DO have a separate thermostat."

"Everything was great with two exceptions ice machines should be on every floor, my wife had her shoulder replaced and getting ice on the first floor from the fifth floor was a chore. "We were in town for an event and only had a one night stay. Everything about the Inn was a delight. We were made to feel at home by the staff from the first moment as Tracy gave us a tour of the amenities and showed us to our room. The homemade ginger cookies in the break area were yummy. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and the fresh biscotti were a delight. Our room was comfortable and the little touches like a fresh bottle of water were notable.
