"For someone who likes comfort and is used to a newer place, it’s not worth it. I would call it bed and breakfast (not sure about quality of breakfast though because for us it was a quick in and out, so we didn’t have time to check on it.) The room we stayed overnight was outdated and definitely needs a lot of renovation. The only positive thing was it’s right off the interstate road (probably is good for drivers.) It was first and last time we stayed there."

"I thought this hotel was excellent! Check in was quick & the gentleman at the desk was nice, personable, & even made some jokes. The room was fabulous! We had a suite, so very spacious! King bed, sofa sleeper, elongated sofa chair, jacuzzi tub, the works! It was amazing! Breakfast was the typical continental breakfast, but was hot & fresh, with many choice to start the day. "

"We had an excellent stay at the Fairfield in Effingham. The rooms were immaculate and recently updated, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Check-in was quick and easy, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. The location was convenient, the amenities were great, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free experience."

"Virtual check-in was inconvenient and slow. SMALL rooms. No coffee pot. 15 of the 40 TV channels were unavailable. Had to wait until 9:00 to get my deposit back because no one-site employees"
