"We had the most charming stay a the Lake Hotel Gistihusid in Eglisstadir. The room triple room felt like a full on apartment- it was spacious, modern, and cozy. We enjoyed access to the onsite Spa. The staff was responsive and friendly to all of our requests. Breakfast was a highlight- many options, with a lot of Icelandic influence. We dined at the restaurant for two evenings. "The staff greeted us quickly and gave us a tour of the place at check in. The room was clean and perfect for our needs. The catfish at dinner was cooked perfect. The breakfast was excellent and we never ran out of the essentials. We saw the Northern Lights over the hotel that evening. I'd stay here again for sure. Thank you for you hospitality!"
