Loved the stay! Quiet and remote, beautiful area, easy to find, warm and comfortable. Would 100% recommend! Saw the Northern Lights while there, couldn't have been any better.

The cottage we stayed in for the night was clean and cozy. We were there on a cloudy and rainy day/night, so we didn't see any, but it would be a great place to stay to see the northern lights with no light pollution!

Stayed here as we were campervanning on the Ring Road as a way to break up the trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, and their morning coffee was surprisingly solid. The hotel itself is nothing to right home about but did the job for what we needed.

Our room was clean and nice. Bathroom small and shower was tiny - hard to move around in there without hitting the faucet. We had dinner there which was very good. Breakfast was typical continental. Location is very remote. Thought it would be in town of egilstaddur but about half hour away and once off of main road, down a long gravel road. Roads to other towns mountainous.

Stayed in a cottage. To get to the property you do go down a dirt road but it is well maintained. Staff was very friendly and the cottage was very large and clean. Bathroom was kind of fun to maneuver the shower but still clean and doable. Would've spent more time at this location had I known how wonderful the cottage was. About 20 minutes from downtown but it's lovely and very peaceful.

Schönes Gasthaus mitten in der Natur. Frühstück war gut. Leider muss man durch den Essensraum, um zur Rezeption und zu den Zimmern zu gelangen. WLAN vorhanden, kein Fernseher. Personal sehr hilfsbereit, Zimmer sehr schön.

My husband and I had a room with a private bathroom in a unit outside of the lobby/main building. It was very basic but had enough hot water for morning showers and was quiet. We loved that the back windows looked right it into some bushes, so it was very private :) The staff were some of the most warm and helpful of our trip.

Location is not accurately depicted by Expedia as guesthouse was 25 mins outside of town vs the 5 mins shown on map and in the description. Our room was a modular unit with metal exterior that seemed to block the wifi signal. Furnishings and decor were minimalist at best. The beds were comfortable though

The property appeared newly renovated and was very clean. The staff were very friendly and we had a nice dinner (fish soup was excellent) and really enjoyed playing cards in the dining hall when we finished our meal. The dining hall had a wonderful playlist and some beautiful artwork of the mountain range to the east, which really created a relaxing atmosphere after a day of traveling. We would stay here again.

Great stop between destinations. Not much around it and a long gravel road to access it. Close to the Vok Lagoon. Spacious room for a family and the unit has a kitchen and a separate bedroom.

This place was pretty good for the price we paid. The room was clean and the location not too far off of route 1.
