From the hole in the bathroom door to the dirty q-tip on the floor, to the stained furniture and bed cover to the moldy shower curtain, to the brick like bar soap that shattered when hit with water to the pealing wallpaper to the over powering smell of bleach, this was textbook what you want to avoid when booking a hotel.

I never got to stay at this hotel . Expedia only took my money didn’t tell me about any other fees that woo have to pay at time of my arrival. Therefore Expedia charge my credit card and I never stayed there . I ask Expedia to refund me but yet they haven’t done so the receptionist at the hotel wouldn’t help me . I will never book with this hotel nor Expedia , it’s been twice this has happened with Expedia. So people don’t book with Expedia. Nor this hotel . My 97 year old father and my self slept in my Car .

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The free breakfast was an extra bonus! We only stayed 1 night but would recommend it to anyone traveling through Westmorland.

The AC stop working, i called down to the desk and the guy didn't know what to do and didn't offer any help. He told me he could have maintenance look at it tomorrow. But I'm leaving tomorrow. I couldn't open the windows because they didn't have any screens on them. After a few hours the AC would cut back on for maybe 10 minutes at a time then cut back off for about 45 minutes. The floor was kinda sticky and had a few slippery spots on it. The next morning i asked for an iron and they literally just brought me an iron, no ironing board. Didn't know i had to ask for it to. We had an upstairs room and there was no elevator. I have medical issues and had no choice but to walk up these stairs. If i would've know that, i wouldn't have ever stayed there. I was in pain for 2 days after that.

Overuse of a strong lemony cleaner that lasted over an hour with the a/c on and requested their help to pull on and later off the ceiling fan short cord to help clear out the strong odor. It gave me a migraine like headache. Dan Katz in my party, stayed downstairs and had the same problem and had to take two ambien pills to deal with it. Requested 2 nd night not to clean my room as a result. It worked but smell at my door was still strong. I wasn’t bothered by the large hole in the bathroom door but having no elevator to the 2nd floor was inconvenient for my knees and heavy baggage. Staff was nice but it took over 40 minutes to check my party of 3 in. Nice gal at desk had difficulty finding the reservations (had my Expedia #) for each of us. Mix up with accepting my $100.00 cash deposit she accepted and using my card. Asked for receipt 3 times and never received it. She asked for my email to send it, not received. Got a call while driving home from Teresa saying I left my $100.00 there. It was to take the “hold” (unknown to us) off of my charge card per lady who accepted it. Teresa said to call the hotel on Tuesday to confirm as she knew nothing about that. Would not recommend this place at all.

The property decided that my reservation was canceled in October even though Expedia continued sending me updates saying I was all set right to the day of or check in. They had booked our room out and didn't have another available (which is why i had booked months in advance). To their credit they offered to put me up a thier "sister" hotel which was fine until we disovered it was a 1960 era moter lodge populated by migrant workers I wouldn't stay at by myself let alone with my family. Either total incompetence or completely dishonest. If i had to guess, the property stole our reservation in favor of a more lucrative opportunity and tried to pawn us off on thier sleazier option to get it. A total debacle.

We booked this hotel for a family weekend trip. All staff were very friendly. These are my issues with the hotel: 1. Small breakfast area 2. Limited breakfast, there was a sign that stated 1 plate per guest. On top of that we were not allowed to take breakfast back to the room. Which caused an inconvenience for us. 3. They only offer small packaged shampoo and conditioner packets. I had to ask for multiple because I have a lot of hair and long. 4. The pool is not heated. There were a group of 9 men in the hot tub drinking. When there is a sign on the door that states no food or drinks. 5. Upon inspecting our room we found rat poop. I have pictures and videos to prove that.

At best, the hotel is efficient. I hated the fact that the lighting in the room is that horrible blue green fluorescent light. It's funny that they had a ceiling fan in the room but no way to reach the cord to turn it on or off. The room smelled awful the first day and the desk attendant said they had switched to new cleaning materials and that's why it was unpleasant. I asked for a different room but they said they were sold out. The next day, the room smelled better. All In all, it was clean and efficient but not particularly pleasant.

I loved my stay the only reason i booked there was for the hot tub which was down i checked in Sunday and stayed until Friday morning my room was cleaned on Monday but for three days straight my room was not cleaned and trash was left to pay 80 bucks a night and not have your room cleaned is crazy .
