"this was a great choice, the cabin was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed from the coffee maker AND the coffee, to the spacious upstairs. andrea who was at the desk gave us a whole rundown on the town and the trails, googling the weather forecast for us to help us plan what day to do what trail. she gave us info on what restaurants and markets were open (we went in the winter when most things are shuttered). she also gave us a later checkout which was really helpful. all in...

"While it was my first visit to El Chalten, I could just sense that Destino Sur is the best hotel in town. The entire hotel provided an excellent ambiance mixing both classic and modern tastes. Room was lovely, spacious and clean. Loved the wooden floor all around. Staff were most helpful answering all the questions and requests with courtesy and friendliness. Food at the restaurant was a top class. Sauna and jacuzzi provided relaxing after an intense hiking. Location was great close to all...

They have a very convenient option to have prepared food that you grab on your way out in the morning to take on the hike as well. Room service for the tired nights when we felt like we couldn't move after 14 mile days. The food was not cheap...

"Tivemos uma situação estranha na thiamalu. No início, tudo ok. Acomodação simples, mas também não esperávamos muito pelo preço. O serviço inicialmente também foi simpático e a dona do estabelecimento presTudo transcorreu "

"This is a wonderful place to stay! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was private, clean, and comfortable. And the location was a block from the main street: close enough to be there immediately but far enough to be quiet. Would definitely stay here again!"
