"Loved the Old Cinema hotel. Beautiful art deco decoration in rooms and surrounding areas. Air con works well. Great shower. Cool breakfast area / cafe with lots of plants. Great background music accentuating the cool mood. Small pool to cool off in was on way to needing a clean, but was fine. Lots of towels. All staff were magnificent even helping to organise tuk tuks to the sights. Food excellent. Loved this place especially the meatball sandwiches for lunch. "

I liked that they had signs that asked guests to use their towels more than once and that they offered filtered water in glass bottles vs. plastic. I also appreciated that they didn’t take up counter space with any unnecessary amenities like little boxes of shower caps or boxes of toothbrushes. "A peaceful retreat surrounded by forest and fresh air, making it a relaxing place to escape the city. The calm environment and cool weather add to the comfort of the stay. However, some facilities need better maintenance, and improving the check-in process would help make the experience smoother for guests. "
