On the up side, Assistant F&B Manager, Benny Amutenya really tried hard to make amends to the lack of empathy for my food intolerances, which had been flagged twice prior to our stay. He was very apologetic and acknowledged. Thank you Benny. The lodge lacked ambience."

"I can not recommend to stay in Moon Mountain Lodge. At least not at this time of the year. Preparations for the new season where still ongoing and only a few of the tented rooms were ready and the smell of tar paint was all over the place. Despite they had only 5 guests including us we were given the most far away tented room (ca. 200 meters gravel way from the main building). The breakfast was a catastrophy. The butter was rancid, the milk was sour and the cheese was moldy. The managememt were not really interested in our complains and told us all food were stored in the fridge. So this was the worst accomodation of all we had since years in Namibia and South Africa!"
