Really nice stay. Perfect Location for walking everywhere. Room was very clean. Comfortable bed. Flat pillows (luckily I brought my own) Husband said they were fine. Would probably stay again depending on cost. Would not spend peak prices. Bar and restaurant service was excellent

The room was be dry nice and also very clean. I loved the bath tub. It was much bigger than a normal! The coffee in the lobby is very convenient and very good. The location was very convenient. In walking distance to multiple restaurants and multiple different beaches.

The vibe has changed from first year it opened. The lobby is now jewel tones , moody vibe, and smells like a men’s cologne from the 70’s. This hotel is located on the water. We were expecting a light, bright, fresh, and clean vibe… which is that of the individual guest rooms. It’s unfortunate that guests must walk through the “ moody/70’s” vibe in order to access the elevator.

The property exceeded our expectations! I've never had a hotel room with 2 full bathrooms! The beds were super comfy, and loved the small balcony. The staff were very kind as well.

Pleasant stay

Keyless entry made check in easy, Room was spacious and clean. Snacks and water in room was appreciated. Covered parking was next to building. Would definitely stay again.

Tim, the bartender, made our stay excellent. The other staff were very nice also. We received an upgrade and had a better room than we expected. The view was nice, the area is great, and we felt like we were the only people in town (off-season indeed).

parking was easy. communications with staff were good but it would take a while to connect to someone via phone and we didn't receive an automated email with access info that we should have received. very comfortable beds and clean unit. not enough hot water.

The room was spotless and classy with some local chips and water in the rooms. Excellent for our small dog with amazing views and walking paths. I would also recommend a local breakfast spot Ames Street Cafe. We talked with another guest and we both enjoyed the home made local food. The rapids right next to the hotel was fantastic for wildlife and cool scenery. Short walk see the Elk River to flow into the east bay. It would be a great opportunity for a summer stay if you can get a boat slip. Great hospitality with a fresh modern look. No fears with this not being a large chain. We hope to return soon.

Very nice room, great location in center of town, immaculately clean, like-new construction. Would be 5 stars but I'm not keen on the self-service concept. No one working at reception, you have to check yourself in online and get access codes. We had no problems, but it's easy to see how it could be a problem. I notice that hotels have gotten rid of housekeeping, and now the front desk as well, but haven't passed on the savings in the form of lower rates.

Easy key-less check-in administered by text messages. Your phone needs to stay charged to remember the codes, or take a screen shot, or have a great memory of 3 #’s. The rooms are very clean and modern. What I did not like - for a light sleeper it is not ideal. I found the bed uncomfortable and there was a constant generator/broiler-like humming that made it difficult to fall asleep. The walls are very thin so any talking in the hallway, showers taken next door, were easily palpable to hear. Luckily my neighbors were quiet. The Roku tv did not provide much live sports tv options. It was fine for the the event I was there for, but I probably would not stay there again.

Loved the modern minimalist decor. The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Our view of the water was great. The one night we spent as we were passing through on our vacation felt like a special retreat. We loved walking to nearby shops and restaurants which were so close by! Awesome hotel we highly recommend and would love to return to!

The staff is very nice and helpful-they were fun to interact with when coming and going. The rooms are modern and very clean- so nice! The location is walkable to everything in Elk Rapids and parking was a breeze. I love the coded locks so I don’t have to worry about a key or losing a key card, which is extra nice when you are doing water activities in the area. We really enjoyed our stay and Elk Rapids is a gem!
