"Great room. No chairs. No water. No information. No coffee, tried to get coffee at the cafe downstairs, staff ignored me or served others after I had placed my order. Over priced for what is available."

"I enjoyed the breakfast very much. The TV was disappointing. It only had about 10 channels, and 3 of them were Spanish. There was no channel guide. It was hard to put up with. Bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious. The personnel was kind and helpful."

"I liked the ease of check-in and check-out. The room was clean, but the paint on the walls was dingy with stains, and in need of a fresh coat. "This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of parking. I will stay at this place again."

"This is a very old hotel; however, the uniqueness, character and location make it worth overlooking the aging aging of the facility. We had the 2-room suite on 2nd floor and loved it and will stay here again when in the area again"

"Great location and beach. The beach was not always cleaned up in the mornings- overflowing trash etc. the room was somewhat clean. Liked that they offer beach towels so you don’t have to pack that. There was one staff member that wouldn’t allow anyone to play games on the beach even where there was empty space. He wasn’t very professional or kind when delivering the message. He instructed guests to go to neighboring properties. Breakfast options are limited which is fine for a night or two."

"Great location. Loved the sauna, cold plunge and hot tub. Fitness center down for repair was a bummer. Patio was neat to see wild life. Nice showers"
