"Room was clean but could have use more towels in the bathroom. Good choices for breakfast. Beach was fabulous and the view was spectacular"

"The room was neat and clean, and the location was very convenient for accessing the ferry ride. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options and quality food. However, the bathroom had a drainage issue, and the river-view balcony was full of insects, which was disappointing and made it difficult to enjoy the view. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with great breakfast and a convenient location, but the maintenance and balcony issues could be improved."

"We stayed here this past weekend. The room itself was big & spacious. The front desk attendant however was pretty rude when we arrived. We are from out of town so tried to call & see if we could check in early but just got left on hold. Upon arrival (we were about 30-45 minutes early) we asked if their was any early check in and she said check in was at 4 accross the board without even checking if any rooms were ready… we then asked if we could store our bags at least and she said do we look...

"Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. When we arrived, there was no A/C, and the elevators seemed unstable. I mentioned my concerns to staff and was told they had been fixed. Just a couple of hours later, my children and I got stuck in the elevator for 45 minutes and had to be rescued by the fire department. It was a scary experience, especially with kids. I hope management addresses these safety concerns, but based on our experience, I would not never take my family here again."

"Sugar beach location was roughly 10-15 minutes from downtown. The beach on site, was ideal. Beach chairs need to be updated.. could be nicer. The balcony decks need cleaned. Hotel room was nice.. Breakfast delivered to room was nice in the morning, not having to go down to a lobby was a plus. Coffee machine in room could be updated."

"This hotel was a challenge for 2 Seniors. The walk from the curb to the Check-in desk was a very long distance. To get to the Lobby, had to use an escalator, signage nearly non-existent to find lobby, security then point me to follow purple carpet. Had to go through casino and that's when I spotted a bellman, Phil. Then finally got to the lobby. He + I had to go back to the car to get luggage and then back to the lobby to get to room elevators. I'm sure just this took over an hour. Bellman,...

"I didn't like the room, floors, bedding and bathroom area. The sheets were ripped. The face bowl was backed up and there was no maintenance on the property to fix it."
