"The Dexter will be nice once they get all of the construction done; address the hot water issues, and maybe add a chair to the room and perhaps a floor lamp, as well. In addition, they have the tiniest rolls of toilet paper with no extras available in the room, and they hardly had any shower gel in the bottle to use. "Honestly not a bad place to stay at! Literally the one and ONLY thing that did it for me…was AS we were leaving, we go to grab our phones off the charger’s that are next to the bed!! We SEE a cockroach… we go through everything to make sure we’re not taking anything with us or make sure nothings inside. We left in a rush feeling icky. Also I wouldn’t say it was SUPER quiet because we could hear people passing by."

The complimentary breakfast was good. hot pancakes and eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy all cooked. self serve breakfast included cereal and oatmeal. coffee, milk and juice. the pool was nice, unfortunately, the hot tub was not working at the time. we were about 5 miles away from downtown Traverse City. there were a lot of restaurants that were close by."

"I liked the ease of check-in and check-out. The room was clean, but the paint on the walls was dingy with stains, and in need of a fresh coat. The furniture is all very old and dated, but perfectly functional. The beds were comfortable enough, but the pillows need an update.
