"I had a brilliant stay at Katie’s Cottage. The owner was very kind to me before and during my stay and communicated with me very kindly. The cottage is in a great location, quiet and peaceful. "On arrival we were greeted and shown to our spotlessly clean room with all the amenities we required truly home from home. From the lovely warm room after a day out in the unfortunately rainy weather I personally always enjoyed a soak in a lovely hot bath. This is our second stay at Highfield House and it was a memorable stay. I would highly recommend the Highfield to anyone who is visiting Skipton give it a try you won’t be disappointed. "Nice, clean, small. Rooms and hallways very small. Imagine a hostel room with a nice bar and cafe. Very nice staff. Parking is wherever you can find it, expect a walk."

"The Hotel for the price you pay was ok. The bed was clean, however no mattress protection was laid down. The bathroom was also clean. The rest of the room as not as clean as i would have hoped and looked tired. The location however is excellent! Parking was suffient and only a 3min walk in the famous all creatures great and small area. "
