"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! "Great location with plenty of parking and comfy rooms. Bar area is very relaxing. However breakfast is a bit chaotic. For the second visit in a row, the coffee machines are not working properly so there's a long queue and frustration. Two domestic toasters but the bread was far too large to fit and resulted in many pieces of burnt toast."

"The room was basic but spotless. The bathroom toiletries were lovely. Everywhere had a fresh coat of paint and bathroom had recently been resealed everywhere so looked fresh / newly refurbed. Breakfast was in a nice room by the garden and quiet. Food was ok but I didn’t like the sausages. I heard them cooking eggs to order. Car parking was a blessing and staff were very friendly. Pillows could have been less hard. Location was perfect. Overall, a great little place to stay."

"Room was clean and pleasant. Staff were all helpful and friendly particularly Elizabeth on the desk. We upgraded our room to onevinnthe coach house which was quirky and nicely decorated and i really aporeciated the elemis toiletries. Reasonable selection of cold breakfast food and a decent english breakfast. Only drawback is the spa area which is very shabby with many cracked tiles in the steam room and by the pool. There was no hot water in the spa area and changing rooms as the boiler was broken. I chose the hotel partly because i trust macdonald hotels but in this case for the spa! So that was a pity really. I got the impression that they were understaffed that day- it was a Bank Holiday. "
