Erie hotel guide. Motel 6 hotel in Erie, Michigan

The room was excellent. The facilities not so good. Laundry room - the Washing machine had black scum inside it - i needed to clean it before i used it. The drier had lint and hairs within it. The Starbucks arrangement for breakfast is a joke. This is not well communicated. It says on card "one hot entree" but you do not know what is available. The staff was friendly but not very forthcoming or engaging. on first morning i gave up and had a yoghurt, on second morning i tried again but lost...

We stopped here for one night whilst touring around Ohio. This is a Victorian house with many features from that period. The host, Landon, greeted us and explained everything to us. The property sits in a quiet neighbourhood, but still convenient for downtown Toledo. The room we had was well furnished and equipped. One also has the use of the downstairs reception rooms, kitchen and even the laundry room. Would recommend if you are looking for a slightly “quirky” guest house in Toledo.

Loud with planes and trains at night as you are near the airport
