"Check in went smoothly, got to our room to discover we did not get our upgrade, the gentleman later was nice and gave us the upgrade, we wanted the upgrade as that's where the coffee was, however, if you want more then the two capsules they give you, they charge you! The room was fine, bar was nice, but amenities were terrible "

"The property is in good conditions and it's located at the historic center. We chose it because it was recommended. But our experience was not good from the beginning. The access to the hotel was blocked and we were not informed in advance. We had to call the hotel after trying to get there for over an hour. Then they sent us written instructions through email. At least the instructions included pictures so we can follow them properly (the streets are very narrow with confusing signs). When we finally arrived, we had to leave the car at a nearby Plaza, walk to the hotel, do the check-in and leave our luggage. Nobody helped us with our luggage. Then they provided us with a QR code to get to the parking space. After that, we had to walk to the Hotel. I understand it's a historic building, located at a historic center but they should provide their guests with a better experience when arriving and leaving the hotel. Also they should at least have coffee available at 7:00 AM for the guests that need to leave early."

"I gave this property 10 out of 10. If I could give it more, I would, because it deserves it and it was one of the nicest places I have stayed while walking the Camino de la Plata. Ceser could not have been more kind or helpful. He even offered to come and collect me because I was lost and had walked approx 4km past Grimaldo by mistake. The location is great (right on the Camino de la Plata - despite me gettong lost). The room was warm, clean and very comfortable and simple but beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend. "Staff excellent also cleaners. Maintenance could be better. Loose WC seat fittings need replacing would not tighten. Handle to bathroom needed replacing could not close and shower doors would not close causing leakage onto bathroom floor. Grab rail needed in shower."

"So ehow had the disabled room, but all ok, carpark is accessible by a car lift just next to the entrance. Convenient very short walk into the main square. Lots of good places to eat and drink"
