This is an older building that appears to have been minimally rejuvenated. The room was clean enough; the towels and washcloths were clean. When you get into the room, you see the thick layers of paint, the cracks in the floor, the things that should have been fixed but were not. The bed did not have a box spring, but it did have some kind of spring mechanism that squeaked when you moved or rolled over.

For the price, I found it to be quite nice. It was simple, doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms were very clean. They also use the newer, quieter air conditioners, as opposed to the old, loud things still far too common at budget hotels in the U.S. Pool was clean and cool. Nice soft lighting around the beds for winding down. I would stay here again, no hesitation.

Overall it was a really nice stay, we didn’t spend much time in here aside to sleep. Some of the reviews scared me saying it was a scam, dirty, etc.. but i didn’t think that at all. Our room was super clean, renovated, staff were friendly, provided towels, so on and so on. I think the only thing for me was the bed frame is like springs it’s a bit squeaky but nothing crazy. Overall, we would stay here again! Close to stores, food, freeway, it’s also in a very nice area!
Double bed room; provided a microwave, mini fridge, plastic cups, tub for ice machine, desk area. Multiple plug ins to charge any device.
Double size bed, clean linens, super confortable, comfy pillows. Small shelf between the beds that also had a plug in to charge devices.
Really nice vanity mirror, plenty of counter space. They provided hand soap, lotion, Kleenex, hair dryer, iron.
Super clean bathroom! Two body towels, two smaller towels, two hand towels.

Very large rooms, lots of parking, stayed in the front of the motel. Particularly love this motel for dog parents. Felicita County Park is a 5 minute drive and you can park across from the park if the gate is not open to walk your dog, Also its a ten minute walk to the back entrance of Kit Carson Park with hiking, dog trails and a sport center, lots of people riding bikes.

The property looked like a motel 6. The type of people staying there made it feel unsafe to go to your car. The person at the front desk was taking a nap. Our bathtub had very bad rust stains and the light switches were sensitive to the touch. You can feel and hear the springs in the bed when you move. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Sheets were stained whole shower water came out all the way to the door , there was a lot of jumping animals so tiny and black in bathroom we left same night :’)

Very poor beds.... lumpy, noisy, terribly uncomfortable. Ants in the bathroom. Shower got water everywhere. Won't stay here again.

Check in was quick & easy & the young man on the front desk was very pleasant. I walked up the stairs to my room & let myself into the room next door to a man standing in his doorway smoking pot. The room was clean & bright & the A/C worked well. Unfortunately the bathtub was surrounded by black mold & the walls were badly patched. I knew it would do no good to complain & ask to be moved, as I was already told that they were sold out. I was leaving at 5am so I just stayed. The rate was inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for. I will not be staying here again.

The rooms here are very spacious, the cleaning staff and front desk staff are excellent and helpful. Especially love the dog friendliness of this motel. There are two nearby parks with trails Felicita County Park and Kit Carson. Both good for kids activities and Kit Carson has disc golf and a sports center. Loads of shopping and grocery stores within a mile. Stay on the second floor for a quieter experience.

Excellent place to stay. Very large clean rooms with lots of space, fridge, microwave and copious towels. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there is plenty of parking. This stay is perfect for dogs and there is a large County park nearby which is great for kids and dogs. Lots of convenient shopping, coffee shops nearby. Escondido is a very pretty area!

The room was very dirty when we arrived. The floor doesn't appear to get mopped often. When I wiped up the water it turned the towel black. There are brown specs all over the walls, blinds and baseboards. There was long black hairs in the showers. There are also a lot of people who live there and sketchy drug like activity in the back. It was a place to stay in an emergency but the pictures and reviews are miss leading there are holes in the walls and unfinished construction repairs in rooms. Our door looked like it had been broken down by police as the damage to it was extensive. The beds are very uncomfortable as they are just some cushion placed on a metal frame that moves and screeches everytime someone adjusts or slightly moves. The walls are so thin you can hear people in the rooma next door coughing, snoring and talking.

It's a place to rest one's head and shower. There's nothing fancy about a motel with a small pool. It wasn't bad. It was just okay. I wasn't a fan of the sheets that felt more like polyester micro fiber than cotton.

There was a roach on the wall when we first walked in, the door was broken to the room. We had to slam it shut hard to get it to lock and it was hard to open back up. The room was full of stains and was very dirty. The bed was uncomfortable and stiff. The pillows were flat. The water smelled terrible.

The staff are really great and friendly, they are very sincere, and the Indian guy there was very friendly, and I really thank him. The rooms were very clean, and I recommend it to everyone. 🙏❤️

The stay here was amazing, only issue was the room mix up but the staff was very lovely and helpful and did fix issue right away. Other then that room was clean and building felt safe no issue. Would come back and I do recommend others to check it out :)
