"the room was very clean. The gentleman at the front desk was not very pleasant! He seemed annoyed when I asked questions. The pool was not as clean as it should have been. Breakfast hours were ridiculously Early {6am-9am}.- The breakfast hours should be open at least till 10am, we had children with us and they did not have breakfast. "On the second floor, the hotel smelled like marijuana; even though doors and windows had been opened to air it out, the odor was strong. A screw was sticking out of the bathtub handle, and the cover plate for the screws had fallen off. Luckily, I always bring my own shampoo, because the hotel's dispenser was empty."

"For the price it was decent. The room was clean. The a.c worked well. It was not a luxury suite, but for the price I would stay here again. Check in was easy, the staff was friendly. The only interaction was at check in and check out. The area is nice and quiet. I felt safe. It is behind some new apartment homes they just built. Restaurants just a few miles away. Everything went well on the trip. Therefore, no complaints. "

"lovely property, the staff was very accommodating and understanding as our reservation came in at midnight due to last minute cancelation from our previous location. the staff helped us find a room and be comfortably accommodated. my only comment would be the soap and shampoo provided in the room. i personally did not find it to be enough for 2 people. other than this. we would definably come back again."

"There are roaches at this hotel. It is unfortunate as I typically enjoyed staying here it’s a tucked away mellow area. I’ve had to kill a total of 5 roaches during my stay with my 1 year old and 2 year old. I do not recommend this hotel any longer"

"Some hotels don't have coffee in the room and I appreciated that and the fridge. The only negative is the area is a little sketchy but it's not the hotels fault."

"Room was not clean, asked for sheets to be changed never happened. Rug and some sheets had stains, mirror was dirty. Normally dont have issues not sure what changed."

"Staff were good but they don’t clean the room nor change the bed or bring fresh towels for your second night stay which was a bit surprising not to have fresh towels to take shower."

"Came here for a little weekend getaway with my wife. Room was very clean and exceeded our expectations. Staff was very helpful and friendly when checking in. Locations is very close to everything you’d need. About 5-10 min from nice beaches and about 20-25 min from Downtown SD. Didn’t get to try out the breakfast provided or the pool area. Overall a great experience and would book again."

"The staff was super friendly and nice but Expedia and the Days Inn did not make us aware that they are in the middle of renovations. We were surprised to find the office located in one of the bedrooms, a very make-shift breakfast and the like. However the room seemed to recently have been renovated and was good minus the fact that the AC struggled a bit to keep the room cool and housekeeping was late or delayed or non-existent most of the time.
