"Best spot to get away from the busy life."

"I was incredibly disappointed in the conditions of the hotel. It is very very ran down. The bug situation is insane. It’s common sense there would be bugs by a lake but wow. Can’t even open your sliding door to the patio or you’ll be swatting mosquitos and whatever else was flying around that they claimed weren’t mosquitos. However, my daughter and I woke up with several bites. Management was great. They understood and allowed us to check out and obtain a refund. "

"This is an older building that appears to have been minimally rejuvenated. The room was clean enough; the towels and washcloths were clean. When you get into the room, you see the thick layers of paint, the cracks in the floor, the things that should have been fixed but were not. The bed did not have a box spring, but it did have some kind of spring mechanism that squeaked when you moved or rolled over."

"We stayed in a pirate room. You can tell the hotel is not new but overall cleanliness was adequate. The kids absolutely loved it because the reality is this hotel is made for kids. So many kid focused things… The little club area was just too cute. Half of the arcade games were broken or not functional. The breakfast that was included was the most robust hotel breakfast I've ever had. What hotels include breakfast? It's usually a minimal continental breakfast and this was an entire buffet so...

"Don’t stay here unless it’s your very last choice. The hotel is so gross and dirty. I guess you get what you pay for. The drains are full of hair and idk what. Stains all over the “clean sheets”. You can tell they don’t wipe or disinfect anything. Cobwebs and dust all over. Hallways smell crazy. And don’t even get me started on the fridge in the room. Ughh it’s so nasty. I wouldn’t have stayed if I didn’t book in advance and didn’t pay for the protection to get reimbursed, never making that...
