"The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Lovely to have a fridge in yhe room. Staff were very helpful & friendly. A lovely one night stay whilst attending a wedding party.
£5 parking fee, not excessive but no mention about this when booking. Might as well just add £5 to the room rate and not have those unsightly signs everywhere. "

"Yes the room was spotless and well equipped, the hotel itself was very nice and a good restaurant and bar , also not very far from the facilities of york ,the park and ride about two minutes away, would stay here again ."

"Perfect host , very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for him . We arrived late and he even sat and had a drink with us in the lounge .
Really homely . Very clean . Fresh flowers in our room and chocolates was a nice touch .Breakfast was perfect . Reasonable price . "
