"Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience. "

"What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027!"

"This place is a budget hotel near the downtown and airport. If you want to be near the beach pick one of the many resort hotels. When they say they have parking it is street parking but there was usually a spot not too far from the hotel. Street is very crowded so if you drive make sure you’re comfortable on small streets and parallel parking etc. The breakfast was either pancakes bacon or sausage or eggs your way toast and sausage or bacon. "Staff was friendly and responsive. Our room was beautiful and well equipped and cleaned daily. The beach was lovely and the cove provided protection against the winds other beaches were facing. The waters were clear, and we saw a lot of sea life just outside our door with goggles! Parking was easy and close to our door."
