"A quiet, well-being, professional, horse loving retreat from the demands of our busy life around London. The views, room, healthy locally sourced meals and care in presentation are a delight. Highly recommended as a time for Oneself. The Spa and Salt water pool were an integral part of our relaxing time here. We will definitely be returning! "A diamond in the rough, We got a free upgrade which was nice but the room had an outdated bathroom with the toilet beneath the boilersystem in the technicalroom with the fusebox of the whole building. Besides that it was a good experience"

"Beautiful Chateau, wonderful food in both restaurants and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. It really was a perfect stay and a great base for visiting the main WW2 sites."

"Very friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. Quiet location with flower gardens and a nice outdoor spa area. Sheep and a donkey out back in pasture along with a bee keepers beehive at the far back of the property. Very peaceful location with comfortable amenities. We were there for 4 nights and while the food was very good, the menu did not change, so we had 2 dinners in town, where there were many more choices."

"The hotel is nicely placed for highway access and walking into Bayeux. Easy to get on the road to the beaches and memorials. With the town on one side and farm on the other, very pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful and good. The restaurant is handy but with a limited menu and the items don’t change night to night. While the food was tasty we found our meals weren’t very hot so that could be improved upon. We did enjoy our stay there and would recommend it to others."

"The room was very clean, however we could never get the safe to work properly even after the hotel staff reset it. Bar was nice and relaxing. The staff was terrific. Breakfast was ok. We ate there the first morning only. Overall a great place to stay."

"Lovely room in Bayeux that was walking distance from the train station. Proprietor was lovely and she provided early continental breakfast if needed. I encourage solo travellers to come here. Very nice small place with a courtyard. Make sure you know address when first arriving only a small plaque and red door to identify. Bayeux is a charming and beautiful Norman town. One flight of concrete steps to room."
