I am a night shift nurse. I put the do not disturb sign on the door so I could be left alone during the day to sleep and housekeeping woke me up around 10am with loud, obnoxious knocking and announcing themselves about yo come in. Clearly I hopped up out of a deep sleep in a panic and had to deal with that and unable to fall back asleep. Working that night was very hard. It happened again the next morning as well around the same time. I dont know if kids took the sign down or prankers but regardless there needs to be a better system then just obnoxiously banging on doors prior to check out times when people need to sleep. I had the room 3 days there was no need to bang on my door two days straight and ruin my sleep for working ALL night. I am very frustrated by this. Also the hotel is not willing to work with me as a jight shift worker. I cant come after work at 7am to check in and sleep for 7 hrs and leave. The representative repeatedly said check in is at 3. I explained I need a room to sleep while out of town and am off at 7am they didn't budge. So If I need to sleep 7 hours I need to purchase a hotel room the day BEFORE so that the day I need to sleep is covered (but only til 11am) then need to
