Lovely and cute little lodge! Loved the aesthetic, staff was friendly and helpful! Bed was quite uncomfortable we didn’t sleep great, but it’s a very cute lodge for a one night stay!

A very nice older hotel along the Highway. Very good amenities and a good location to explore Crescent City. Parking is right in front of your room.

Beds were comfortable. There's a nice restaurant across the street and several others nearby. It's a good location for staying while exploring the northern portion of Redwood National Park. The only complaint is that the showers are raised like a mini tub, which makes them difficult for people with physical issues to get in and out of.

I was very happy to see the current owners are still taking good care of the lodge. They were very friendly and accommodating. I loved the book inside the room with the history. Great hot water and comfortable beds.

Charming, classic motor inn with vintage charm. Rooms have been updated but retain original character with the wood from the curly redwood used to construct the site. Nice owners too. We saw a herd of elk grazing behind the hotel as we were leaving. The owner put signs up to help maintain a natural setting behind the hotel for the elk.

The hotel building looks somewhat old but quite well maintained. The room was clean and organized. The only thing bothered was that the heater thermostat didn't work and had to be on and off manually. Had to turn it on and off periodically before it got too warm.

Location to Redwood State and National Parks was good. Otherwise, it was noisy on the main road, the room smelled, the towels were old, thin and rough and it was a big room but just wasted space. I would not recommend staying here.
