"Small room. Overpriced."

"We had a great stay here, only for one night, but were made to feel very welcome and were glad we booked here. Set in an old farmhouse, the location was both beautiful and convenient, and our host recommended a great restaurant/pub up the road for dinner. We slept very soundly and were greeted by a hearty breakfast the following morning to start our day. Would highly recommend!"

"I absolutely love The Lake Hotel. My daughter lives in Skibbereen, Ireland and this was my first visit to Killarney. She highly recommended it and I am so glad she did. This will become a new tradition of ours to stay a few nights at the Lake Hotel for our little mom and daughter getaway! The staff was amazing. The breakfast was exceptional. "Picturesque and quiet location, with very helpful owner, good sized bedroom, huge guest lounge, good range of breakfast options and lots of helpful advice about how to spend time as a tourist in that part of Ireland. Only little glitch was the wi-fi but that was fixed by rebooting the router, so just like home ;o)"

"This is a beautiful hotel, rooms are spacious and clean and there are lots of little nooks and cranny’s to sit quietly if you wish. The bar was busy and we ate there. The service was very good and the food, exceptional. Breakfast too was very good. Overall, a good experience but at a higher than necessary price. Also, there is no pool at this hotel and no pool next door, as suggested. You have access to a pool but that’s a five min drive away, so maybe they do not need to mention a pool at all....
