"The ambience and the setting of the location were amazing. It’s a great place to take your pet. We had our own back patio with its own gate and our dog could run in and out just to feel like he was at home. Silverton has always beautiful, but this location is just amazing. Staff was nice and polite and very helpful. I love being able to take my dog out to the outdoor patio and have breakfast looking at all the flowers all around was totally worth it."

"I found the hotel and the rooms were clean and well kept. The parking was well lit and plentiful. The indoor pool was nice. Unfortunately I didn't try the breakfast but it smelled really good. I will definitely be returning to Hotel Salem. Thank you for a nice stay."

"My room was a wonderful *cool* home while attending a conference nearby (in upper-90's weather!). I was gone from 9-9 each day, but it was so refreshing to start the day with a shower with great water pressure to invigorate me, and to nestle into a comfortable bed at night with the temperature regulated for comfort. "Clean, large room and nice staff. Nice big parking lot with good lighting and generally felt safe. As others have mentioned, street noise is very much an issue in the room. Ironically, the breakfast area on the first floor is very quiet and no road noise was noticed. Makes me think that if they had used higher quality windows for the guest rooms the noise issue would be fully resolved."
