"Beautiful property and had stayed there previously with great experiences but a disappointing experience this time. Kitchen in unit had a lingering overpowering food odor. Floors in unit were sticky. Dinner reservations at the resort restaurant were not honored due to minimal staff availability. Went back two different times and were told they were short staffed and could not accommodate us. Even offered to do a take out order but kitchen could not handle it."

"No room service, no microwave, room too small, no free breakfast,. Don't like the $25 a day parking fee.. Just not worth the long trip. Won't book thru expedia again!!"

"Ridge Sierra apart/hotel was exactly as described. It's an apartment operated like a hotel. Located on the back side of Tahoe, it doesn't offer lake views, but the sweeping valley view was impressive.  It was a perfect fit for our group of six and the 11:00 a.m. checkout gave us plenty of time for a leisurely morning and breakfast with our four teens. "I liked the rock and roll theme of the hotel, large photographs of music stars on each floor of the hotel were cool. Our room was rundown, dusty, and in need of an upgrade. The bathroom was old looking, the sink was cracked, the tub was chipped and clearly touched up with spray paint, good water pressure though.
