"The cottage is in a lovely location, very close to Filey, with some lovely walks around the village. The quirky Ship Inn (100 yds away) provides wonderful food and a very warm welcome. The 'little Stithy' cottage was very comfortable, however, we felt it didn't need the kitchen in the same room. We were kept awake most of the night from the humming of the fridge and the bright timer light on the microwave! A tea towel remedied this. "We booked in for one night as we were visiting Filey for a family event. It was a short drive from Filey to the B&B. The place itself is set on the street in the town near some pubs and local shop etc. which is convenient as there is no lunch/dinner service. Parking is on street and we were able to park right outside without any problem. We had a very friendly check in, we did the online check in before arriving so it was all super easy. "Poor signage makes it difficult to find correct property. Kitchenware dirty and had to wash it before we could eat or drink. dishwasher and fridge broken, bathroom floor dirty and toilet full of limescale. rooms starting to look shabby. bed and settee comfortable grounds tidy and handy for beach."
