"The property was decent. Our room was clean and the workout room was good. The biggest negatives for us were: 1) non existent water pressure in the shower-I don’t know if this is the shower head or a problem with pressure throughout the hotel, but it took me 40 minutes to shower and get shampoo/conditioner out of my hair (I usually take 10-15 minute showers…it really was just a trickle of water and ridiculous)! 2) breakfast - the options were great, but if you weren’t there within the first hour...

"Renee that works in the cafeteria was awful to be around. She stands around like a guard and doesn’t even greet or interact with the guests. She was carrying on loud about not cleaning up the bread. I would not go back just because she was there honestly. The rest of the hotel was fine."

"The room was large and comfortable. The bed was great. There wasn’t enough light. We enjoyed the two easy chairs, but were sorry there were only tall chairs at the desk. Us old folks can’t use them. Having a dryer was a godsend after we were caught in the rain! Fantastic breakfasts. We hope to go back."

"Things I liked - free parking. I find it absurd when a hotel charges you extra to park where you’ve already paid to stay the night, so that was good. Rose was very helpful when we checked in and made sure we had what we needed. The room was decent enough, but rated down a star for 2 reasons. First is the extra slippery shower floor. "Absolutely stunning hotel!!! The rooms are very nice, clean and roomy!!! The lake adds a special touch and in the evening it’s gorgeous. At check in Elena was absolutely amazing, very personable and hilarious. She made us feel right at home. The bar is super nice and our bartender Candace was amazing! She made great drinks, nightlife suggestions and restaurant recommendations. We will only stay here from now on when visiting Jacksonville!!!"
