"This was the worst room I've stayed in for a very long time. There was a large hole in the carpet and the air conditioner made the room smell musty. It was so bad I left after the first night of what was supposed to be a two night stay. I'll never stay at a LaQuinta again!"

The downside, the staff were quite unprofessional sitting behind a front desk in rolling chairs while guests are standing behind a counter. "The hotel property and our room was looking run-down and shabby. It’s obvious that things like carpets, walls, trim, elevators, etc. have not been kept up. Our room smelled kind of musty, the carpets had stains, and there were some stains on the bathroom wall. The run-down nature of the hotel just makes it look not clean and not appealing. Some front desk staff are great - others are not very attentive and make you feel like it’s a chore to help you. There are no luggage carts to help haul stuff...
