"We showed up to the hotel under construction and rooms with no AC. Finding staff was a nightmare, towards the night we found out that whoever was there that night quit and left the entire hotel unattended. She also left the keys to the hotel out in the open for anyone to grab with a note that read "free" after that we felt unsafe and distraught. Would not come back"

"Loved this cute inn, in the heart of Hallstatt. I thought not having a private bathroom was going to be an issue but it was not. There are two showers and WC’s and we’re available when we needed them. Staff was super friendly and offered to help with our luggage. I don’t recommend bringing large suitcases as there are two flights of steep stairs. We ate a quick meal there when we arrived and before we left and were satisfied both time. "We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends. Staff was wonderful, breakfast was plentiful and good. Spa, fitness room and pool/jacuzzi was very nice(would prefer longer hours in evening. Would recommend the front side of hotel if you go to bed on the early side as the back side was a little noisy because there is a restaurant or business."
