"We enjoyed our stay at Skye Cabins. The location is fantastic, and the views are incredible! The cabin itself is very cozy and spacious, and it had everything that we needed. Would love to come back and stay there for longer."

"This was a nice place to stay, very clean and had everything we needed. We loved how isolated it is, and it had great views of the stars. The description is misleading/wrong though. You do not get a whole cottage to yourself. It it more of a duplex where the host lives on one side of the building. It says to get keys from the neighbor which we assumed was a different house, but its not and the actual neighbor is quite annoyed that people keep showing up asking for keys. "Great hotel! Location isn’t exactly central, but there’s a bus stop right by the hotel, or it’s about a 15 minute drive to Portree. Plenty of trails and things to see within walking distance of the hotel too. Clean room, renovated bathroom, good food at the breakfast buffet and restaurant beside. The staff is really kind and helpful, I felt that they truly do their best to make each guest feel welcomed/cared for. I suppose the only downside is the wifi connection/data connection can be wonky due to the weather, but that’s just the case for Isle of Skye in general. If you’re staying in Isle of Skye I’d definitely recommend staying here! "

"Absolutely loved our visit to Bracken Hide hotel. The property is beautiful, the cabins are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed was comfy. We were cozy and warm. Our stay included breakfast which was fantastic and we ate dinner both nights at the restaurant and the food was delicious. This was a great base for us as we explored the Isle of Skye. They had a couple of cute little sheep on the property and they were just hanging out by the cabin the first morning. Love this place and wish we could have stayed longer and yes definitely would come back!! Best hotel of our whole vacation."

"The hotel room was spacious and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant offered a great selection of food and the breakfast gave us a great start to the day! The hotel is ideally situated for catching the ferry to the islands or visiting the Fairy Glen or Old Man of Storr. Enjoyed a fantastic break."

Hame Hotel

"Hame Hotel is in Dunvegan, so it's a bit out of the way from Portree (where most people stay). That turned out to be a blessing - our area was quiet, free from traffic, and still convenient to many sights like the Fairy Pools, Talisker Distillery, Dunvegan Castle, and the Three Chimneys restaurant. By contrast, Portree was a nonstop traffic jam, even in September. Our room was comfortable, and breakfast was filling and tasty. We didn't have dinner at the hotel because we failed to make a reservation - keep that in mind if you want to get dinner here, Skye has a lot more tourists than locals, which means things can fill up quickly."
