"Loved the room, the staff and the location. So easy to jump on buses and ferry. No need to use the car. Our Loft Room was so quiet. We expected noise from the hotel and restaurants downstairs. The only disappointment was the breakfast. A little sparse on choices."

"Overall it's ok, if it’s just one person and ur not expecting a restaurant attached. Rooms are small and the generous sized bed takes up 80% of the room. The bed is pressed against the wall( so if u got company they have to jump over u). Very limited food options.Expect to go else where if ur hungry. Other than that. Beds clean, comfy, staff are good , its very central to everything (on top of Wynyard station) and oddly very quiet. great for a night any longer would be a stretch"

"Beautiful property, inside and out, staff are great! Pool is nice but packed with kids unless early in morning and water quality was a little off. Also just know (7/14/26) there is serious construction going on next to this hotel. Front desk said work/noise was 9 am to 5 pm but in reality it’s 7 am to 7 pm, even some digging on sunday. We were out most of the time so no matter, did not bother us even when we were there but ask to be on other side of hotel if noise affects you. Very much...

"Wow, what a fabulous place for a Staycation. The buildings are all old and have been left in their original form however the rooms are great, the food great, the location however, fabulous. If you want a break and enjoy a walk and a glass of bubbles or two with a view, this is the place. I have lived in Sydney all my life and cannot believe I have never stayed her before. We will be back every 6 months."

"The staff were wonderful, friendly, and very helpful. The location was perfect, right in front of the beach and surrounded by excellent restaurants. The hotel also was fantastic. The only downside for me was the cleanliness. When we arrived, there were pieces of paper on the nightstand, the surfaces were dusty, and there was hair in the shower and on the bathroom faucet. "The room was renovated and clean. Appreciated the complimentary water bottles, milk and drink vouchers. Daily cleaning. Aircon works great. All the amenities we needed (minus a microwave) were provided in the room. Ample parking. 5min walk to the train station. At night, you can hear some road noise and music from downstairs, but it's not that loud. Ear plugs are provided. However, the beds were so comfortable that we had a good night's sleep. The beds had wheels and tended to move too much....
