"Really smart hotel, great staff. Breakfast was ok, but cooked items kept in casserole dishes with lids on, so difficult to serve yourself and hash browns were soggy. Great location for touristy stuff or shopping in York."

"Good place to stay for a one night stay. Very close to the city centre, less than a ten minute walk to York Minster and so a good base for our trip. Nice clean rooms, good size. Bathroom was also clean and bright. The kettle was very mouldy though which was a shame so couldn't use this. The car park is also very very small and compact and didn't seem as secure as expected as the barriers are left often."

"Great location, nice hotel. Breakfast was pretty good. Car parking was limited, only downside was the workman taking scaffold down by the window at 8am. Would have been nice to be warned that this was happening. Overall, nice hotel. Would use again."

"Our room was clean and well laid out, we picked a accessible room by mistake but it was good the shower was not great but l take it because it was for a disabled person, staff where lovely and helpful breakfast was as expected l loved the waffles and fresh fruit, location was near the train station and easy access to the centre of York overall would definitely recommend this hotel, there was a gym but we didn’t use it had plenty of exercise walking round the city."

"Lovely hotel, situated just outside of York and a few minutes away from the Park and Ride, which I would suggest you use to get into York. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the parking facilities were great."
