"Our room was incredible and was right next to the historic waterfront, looking across to Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was very spacious, and the beds were very comfortable, and the views were stunning. Although we didn’t use it, the bar looked very nice, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of choice. However, it was always very busy at the last sitting. Would highly recommend."

"Nice location by the train station but other than that I'm not sure that the historical significance of the hotel is worth staying in a severely outdated place. The breakfast buffet was average, particularly when compared to what the Thon branded hotels offer. Add to that the extremely small rooms and a price that isn't competitive for what you get, you might want to look elsewhere."

"A lovely, large, modern hotel in central Bergen. I loved the room, a really nice layout and a view over Lille Lungegårdsvannet and beyond to the Fløyen Panorama and funicular. Close to lots of nice restaurants, shops, convenience stores and so on. It was a short walk from the tram/light rail stop from the airport. Very helpful and friendly staff and a nice feeling of quiet luxuriousness."

"Overall, we had a very good stay and found it to be great value for money. The location is excellent, and having a full kitchen and refrigerator was a huge advantage. Bergen has amazing fresh seafood, and being able to cook it in the apartment was much more affordable than eating at the fish market. The buffet was average with basic options and the view from the breakfast room is lovely. Also the location is a huge perk- very close to the fish market, shopping, and near the main boat tour pier."
