Property location is good. But otherwise, property is really really dirty. The hallway in our room was dirty, and nothing was done when reported. Also there was a bunk bed in the room, and my kid was afraid to sleep in the upper side. We tried opening the sofa bed and it was broken. When we reported, we were asked the question who authorized us to open the bed! Breakfast options were good.

It was an amazing experience and the room was absolutely beautiful. We had the junior suite with the jetted tub. The staff was great and the area was perfect! My only concern was the smell that came from the bathroom every night when I was trying to sleep. Not sure if it was just old plumbing but I had to close all the doors because it was overwhelming. Again only happened at night which was strange. Besides that small problem everything was great and would absolutely stay there again!

It was wonderful service!!! Location is fantastic!!! I felt humanity. The manager call our Taxi and drop off our 6 suitcases through the stairs. If I visit again, I will stay here again. Chao!

Nice place in heart of Florence
We checked in via the internet picked up our key in a box no problem manager contacted me the WhatsApp also great connection for no desk person. Nice breakfast helpful staff good place to leave the bags while we were out seeing Florence on the way out of town. Reasonably priced for a bit of an awkward check-in. Our room was above a yard where there was a bit of work so there was a bit of noise nothing to bother

What a beautiful accommodation in the San Firenze Piazza, in the middle of the historical center of Florence. Walking distance to everything Firenze has to offer. Cannot pay enough compliments to the wonderful staff. Federico took care of us like family. When we arrived there was a problem with our room, Federico upgraded us for our entire stay. We didn't mind moving several times to whatever room was available... including, for several days, the amazing, elegant and spacious canopy room overlooking the piazza. We got to experience all the charm and comfort of each spacious room. The buffet breakfast was excellent in the lovely breakfast room. Self serve cappuccino machine and a wide variety of fresh pastries, fruit, cereal, juices, hard boiled eggs, cheeses and meat, etc.. The train station is walking distance but the stop for the bus to and from the station is just around the corner. Galileo 2000 is a charming property and interestingly, shares its walls with Leonardo da Vinci's house where the Mona Lisa was painted. Grazie Mille for the beautiful stay Federico.

A Bad Start
I was charged in sterling for this stay and had to pay a mark up for conversion. The receipt said i had been offered a choice of currencies. I was offered none. Reception said they couldn't explain this or help me remedy it. A really bad start to the stay.

Had a wonderful honeymoon experience at this hotel! We checked in late, and it was no problem what so ever! Such a beautiful room! The location is amazing, the nightly atmosphere is phenomenal! Our room was amazing, had a beautiful balcony that overlooked the square! Did not partake in the morning breakfast but it looked great! Would 100% recommend this hotel for any occasion!

I love this place! Roof is really high and the room feels a lot larger than it already is. The decoration is beautiful and has a lot of character. I would definitely stay here again. Great location.

Eveything was good
The room is spacious, the building looks a little dated but is part of the firenze charm. The bed very comfortable, the bufett breakfast is ok, the cofee is great. The location is excellent.

The absolute best about this hotel is its central location (with regards to train station, places to visit, shopping and dining options) and its staff friendliness. If you are looking for a clean, centrally located hotel , offering all the basics you need (breakfast, wifi, drinking water supply, housekeeping), look no further, you are at the right place. But if you are looking for full fledged hotel facilities (spa, gym, pool, etc...), keep searching.

This is a beautiful B&B, just a couple of minutes away from the main attraction points of Florence! A big plus in summer is the air-conditioning. Breakfast is basic but solid, fresh eggs and tasty tomatoes, plus pastry, ricotta etc. We have stayed for a week and it was perfect! It can be a bit noisy in the evening/night, so buy some ear-plugs and enjoy the high, painted ceiling and good bed!

Unbeatable View
B&B Galileo is perfectly located in the centre of Florence and our balcony offered a wonderful view of the square. The room was so impressive with four poster bed and painted ceiling it had all the amenities you could want and was comfy too. As an older building I would say you can hear some noise from outside and the other rooms but that wasn't a problem for us. Staff were friendly and helpful and will happily take care of your luggage if you arrive early or after check out.

Location was great - Next to the Museu Bargello and near the Palazzo Vecchio and Museu Uffizi. Room was okay but window had no view and bathroom was tiny. Access was difficult with key required to enter building.

Great location, nice breakfast, helpful staff. Things were clean. The rooms were clean, spacious and lovely. Furnishings were old and classic. The layout was unusual and spread out. Noise issues in front courtyard and the rooms upstairs. No desk service in evening but staff was reachable by phone. The place had a musty, old smell like an air freshener was covering up an odor. The bathrooms were challenging -- small tight showers. The rooms, location, and price made up for shortcomings. Would stay here again.

The room we were in was huge. Definitely meant for royalty. There was plenty of places for storage too. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. Our huge windows opened up onto the square! Breakfast was delicious! They had meats, cheese, yogurt, cereal, breads, sweets, hard boiled eggs, and there always was this sweet lady making us cappuccinos with hearts! We had family in another room, although smaller because less of them were in a room it was still spacious. Again plenty of storage space and their room had a bath tub with jets! Overall great experience. Everyone was kind and helpful!
