Shockingly amazing place in Florence. So close to the train station and to the Duomo. Clean, well air conditioned and always someone available if you need. Perfect stay.

Breakfast down at the cafe waa delicious and convenient. Very friendly staff. Carmine is the most hospitable owner we have encountered. He sent recommendations for restaurants and let us put our bags in the roon until it was ready so we could explore.

Carmine, our host, was HANDS DOWN, the best host we’ve ever encountered! His place in Florence is charming, well located and he is always in the bistro he owns downstairs, or in his office on the property…it’s so nice to have the owner around. He helped w/so many questions we had!! Do yourself a favor…BOOK THIS PROPERTY! You’ll be glad you did.

The property is located very conveniently close to lots of things - Mercato Centrale, the train station, the cathedral, etc. The folks running the place are SUPER helpful and offer lots of information so you get the most of your stay. Excellent!

Amazing communication from Carmine, before and during our stay, nothing was too much for them. Room was extremely clean, spacious and airy. Lots of lovely welcoming touches. Great breakfast spread. Only down side is two flights of stairs with suitcases.

We had an excellent week at B&B Lorenzo. The location is perfect - close to the train station, shopping, dining, and hotspots. Carmine and staff are friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Firenze. Highly recommend it.

One of the best B&B experiences I’ve had. The owner and the staff were very accommodating and very communicative. Everything was comfortable, clean, and wonderful. The location was perfect with the food market across the street and the rest of Florence, including the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, were all within a comfortable walking distance. Would absolutely stay again if I was in Florence and will be recommending to all friends and family to choose here for their stay!

Not for old folks

Difficult to access in a car free zone with lots of luggage and even google maps took us away by at least a 5 minute walk, again difficult to access with lots of luggage and heat and humidity to find. Added to this was a series of 4 stone stairs to arrive at the guest rooms. Once, inside light, modern, cool and comfortable with the large Mercado (market) just opposite. BTW, the manager carried all our luggage up the 4 sets of stairs.

The location is the best. Downstairs they have the cafe (da Carmine bistrot Firenze FI) with B&B discount. We had our breakfast almost every morning there. Right across the street is the market with the most authentic local food. Walking distance to The Duomo. ... I contacted the staff to info our arrival time (early) through Whatsup and get really quick responses and detailed instruction and pictures to guide me how to get to the hotel from the train station, which is super convenient. They also provided daily cleaning and change of towels unlike other places. And last but not least, they provided local 'tips' how to haul a cab, and when to arrive at popular places, such as Piazzale Michelangelo. The modern designed loft hosted the full family of 4 comfortably, and most importantly with AC during our heated June trip. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see. The room was beautiful, our host was absolutely brilliant. Gave us loads of advice on where to eat and where to go away from the typical tourist traps. Breakfast was brilliant. Everything was perfect.

This property enjoys an exceptional location, right in the heart of Florence’s famed leather district and only a 2–5 minute walk to the Duomo, the Cathedral, the riverfront, and the vibrant old town. The train station is conveniently close as well, just about 1 km away, making it an easy 5‑minute walk. The hosts provide thoughtful touches, including all basic amenities and a complimentary welcome selection of wine, soft drinks, and bottled water stocked in the in‑room mini‑fridge. A microwave is also available in a common area, accessible upon request. Step outside and you’re immediately immersed in Florence’s bustling market, surrounded by restaurants, gelaterias, pizzerias, and endless shopping. Carmine was an excellent host,despite being out of town, he stayed in constant contact via WhatsApp and assisted us with everything we needed. His café staff were equally warm and accommodating, even customizing our omelettes to our preference (a rare luxury in Italy!). The initial entryway may surprise some visitors, as the staircase is an older cement style,clean but traditional. However, the actual property on the second floor is spotless, quiet, and well maintained. Best of all, the air conditioning works beautifully, which is a true blessing in Florence. Carmine, my small suggestion: consider adding some Italian‑style artwork along the staircase walls to enhance the charm and authenticity of the entrance. Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Florence

This was a wonderful property! Room was very nice and roomy with all the extras. The host and staff were delightful and very accommodating! They let us bring our luggage early and placed it in our rooms when ready. They arranged a cab for us to airport and checked in to make sure everything went well. Also had a wonderful breakfast with fresh pastries and lots of options. We only stayed one night after we couldn't extend our stay at another hotel but I wish we had spent out entire stay here! Very nice!

신혼여행으로 방문하게 되었습니다. 엘리베이터가 없지만 직원 분들께서 오르고 내리고를 도와주시고, 주인분께서 카카오톡으로 여러 정보와 필요한 것들을 커뮤니케이션 해서 매우 편안한 숙소가 되었습니다. 다음에 기회가 또 있다면 묵고싶은 숙소 입니다.
