The room was in terrible condition - torn draperies, hardware broken and falling off. The staff was difficult to find. The breakfast area was disgusting.

This property is in a very unsafe location with parking in an unlit alley. The property itself is very rundown and dirty with roaches and broken toliet seats. We declined to stay despite prepaying and the manager said he would refund half of our stay but did not (from the receipt, it looks like he paid himself the refund personally).

This was the absolute worst experience ever. I booked two rooms, one wheelchair accessible for my grandmother. Upon arrival I was notified that they don’t have any rooms to accommodate. It took 30 minutes to get my grandmother up to her room using stairs. In our rooms things were unavailable and broken , amenities and other things needed in the room weren’t in there. Used items still in the rooms. When asking for assistance my needs weren’t met. Front desk was no help and no house keeping available.

It appears the property is under new management and possible being updated. The room was very inexpensive and the staff charge a deposit refundable typically 3-5 business days almost as much as room cost. My room was prepaid before I arrived.

The property is in flux as the rooms are modified into spacious suites. Should be great when complete, but the pool, the breakfast and even the bulbs in some room lamps were missing, as was the battery to one of the TV's. VERY nice desk personnel, however, and a great rate for our clean, large room in the meantime.

Not the best place I've ever stayed. We requested a plunger 3 separate times and never got one. Did not have access to a toilet for 24 hours. My partner got pink eye from the filthy sheets. Wish I had taken more photos, but I just wanted to leave.

Needs to be updated. My bathroom door would not close, microwave was nasty and roaches was in microwave. Lock on main door had been busted open,and that evening roaches came out and was crawling everywhere. How can this be a Clairion Hotel!!!!! The pool wasn't open and hasn't been for a while. The room wasn't as clean as it could have been. Bar and restaurant wasn't operational. Boxes everywhere as if renovating. No breakfast, just cookies and juice. The things that was advertised on Expedia was not at the hotel. I wish I could be fully refunded. My first and last stay there.

Staff were friendly and courteous. Room was large with nice appliances. Staircase was literally falling apart. Pool was greenish/brown, laundry facility out of order- empty boxes all over the main lobby. No phone in the room, tv didn’t work, hot water didn’t exist- “clean bed” had hairs on the sheets, didn’t even try to clean the chair in front of the TV- full of dust and peanut shells, only one small trash can in the bathroom, only one security camera per hallway (no idea if they even work) and surprise- a $100 security deposit required. If I hadn’t been exhausted for being on the road for 9 hours I’d have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else.

I booked this hotel because it said it had a pool and a breakfast bufett, which they didnt have either when I arrived because yhey were doing renovations. They should put a notice on thier online website so people can see that before they pay for thier reservations. The room was very unmaintience. It had a cracked mirror, the front of the microwave was broke, the tub had paint stains in it and the molding around it had big indented scratch marks, the latch to the entrance door was broke off. Just a poor looking room and no extras with this stay like swimming or work out room as advertized.

This property had decent pictures and a great price on Expedia - I strongly encourage any traveler to read the google reviews before staying here. It was eerily empty when I was there in the afternoon and I noticed some weird issues with the rooms - broken glass on a countertop. A piece of tape flapped over the peephole, missing bathroom door, but i thought “it’s just a place to sleep, it’ll be fine”. But when I came back to sleep after an event it was filled with people who were living at the hotel, and I don’t mean in their rooms - they were outside. Given that the whole hotel is open air walkways and the rooms have “windows” that open directly to the walkways, this was most concerning. There were dogs running around, kids running around and screaming, people screaming at each other in their hotel rooms and the walls are paper thin, and some folks pulled up some chairs directly outside my hotel room and were watching movies and basically having a date. That’s fine in theory, but it was midnight and I was hoping to sleep. I left in the middle of the night and went to a different hotel in downtown Florence. I wanted to stick it out of respect for the nice southeast Asian family who seem to own it, but there were too many issues for me. It also advertised a nice breakfast on Expedia but the entire restaurant is covered in boxes so I filled in the blank for myself there. I want to support this family, but I would not recommend this hotel.

Very poor condition Thought Clarion was a better franchise than that! No free breakfast but wouldn’t have ate it anyhow

My request was not granted, rooms only had two old stained dingy towels and the front door and bathroom door were stained and old. We had to request the room to be changed because it has roaches and big red ants! I had originally requested my rooms to be next to each other and we were given rooms on different floors and opposite ends. The property states it has a swimming pool and it was not available to use since it was simply filthy. Just very disappointed after a long drive with my kids.

They do not have breakfast in the morning. The pool is shut down and it was very dirty around the area. The rooms were very clean but the lack of having breakfast and they’re offering and offering a pool on the website and then you get there and it’s all shut down and there’s no breakfast. We said something to them about the breakfast and they ended us a bag and it legit had Twinkie in it and damn water. And that was it Granny. It was cheap but I mean damn.
