My husband and I stayed in apartment 3D (1 BR facing the street) for four nights in September and LOVED this place. The apartment is spacious--living room with dining space & kitchenette, large bedroom, and large bathroom--and feels even larger thanks to four huge windows and high ceilings (I'd estimate around 18 feet). It's comfy too, with a king-sized bed with memory foam mattress, large shower (a rarity in Italy) with plenty of hot water, and TV with Fire stick to watch practically anything streamable in case you actually have time to watch TV. There's a very slow elevator that we used when going up (3rd floor is equivalent to 4th floor in the US). Plus, the location can't be beat. It's centrally located in what feels like a very safe part of the city. We even had a view of the Duomo from our windows!
Beyond our happiness with the unit, we were pleased with the service, despite there being no front desk. Francesca, the proprietor, lives on site and arranged an incredible visit to a nearby winery (Castello di Verrazzano). Her husband is a driver and has a clean large van.
We had read complaints about the noise level from the crowds gathered in front to enter the Galleria dell'Accademia, which is very literally across the tiny street, but we kept our windows open all day and all night (weather was beautiful) and were not bothered. It's almost a white noise.
My only ping is that some furniture was a bit worn. But who cares when you get this space at this price!
