"This is really a hidden gem in the SWFL area. Located in the Bonita Bay area on Tamiami Trail, this Hotel is within 20 minutes of the airport, 20 minutes of Naples, 30 minutes to Fort Myers, and less than 10 minutes to Bonita or Barefoot Beaches (our personal favorite). The beautifully landscaped Promenade shopping area with restaurants, shops, and a gourmet Italian market is adjacent and an easy walk. While a car is helpful, it is not necessary as everything is a quick cab or Uber ride away. The rooms are large with a decor that can best be described as dated aughts mid-luxury - think upholstered chairs, gold toned drapes and dark wood furnishings. That being said, ours were in good condition and we found the room very comfortable. Black-out drapes worked perfectly and air conditioning was consistent and effective. Bathrooms have been remodeled within the past few years and are large, well-appointed and similar to other luxury hotels. Overall, hotel and surrounding property are beautiful and well-maintained. We spent a few days relaxing at the pool and it was perfect. The pool is small, and there are only about 20 lounge chairs and umbrellas, so in high-season, make sure to arrive early if you want to enjoy this. There is a charming bar and grill attached to the pool area which provides plenty of food and drink options for a full day - and can be charged to your room. One nitpicky detail - the breakfast is not much to speak of. Go to DeRomo's market instead."

"Need more nights of entertainment. Not enough restaurants open earlier in the day a suggestion would be to put in an area for younger children to play. "

"Breakfast was good, not great. Food off menu was really good and drinks from the bar were okay. Bed comfort could have been a bit better. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient, location of hotel was fantastic. Pool couldn't have been better! Morning coffee was tolerable, but back veranda was perfect to relax and start the day. Definitely would stay again and recommend to others."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this weekend! We have previously stayed on the Captiva side of the island so this was our first on the Lighthouse end. Excellent hotel beach access within a short walking distance with plenty of chairs to use, great shelling, very clean rooms with comfortable beds and a tile shower with dual shower heads. Food at the bar was ok, shrimp was terribly overcooked for a Florida standard to the point of inedible but Mahi sandwich was excellent. Drinks were reasonably priced. Parking was easily accessible and the wristbands made access to rooms very simple. The drive to Bowman or Blind Pass beaches is about 20 mins. There were many restaurants to choose from within easy driving distance, we really liked Del's for breakfast and Gramma Dots for marina dining. Rooms had a fridge and a small microwave. There is a lovely grove of palm trees and grass just before the beach access that also had full size hammocks for use and cornhole games. As a bonus it made finding the hotel after a long beach walk very easy. Would recommend stopping for your own sunscreen and deet-free bug spray before the island since the hotel selection is quite small. Staff were friendly and housekeeping did an amazing job of keeping the same under control and making sure we had plenty of clean, large beach towels. Overall a great experience and we would love to stay here again! "
