"This quiet, secluded resort was built in the 1950's, but is in surprisingly great condition. We booked a garden room with 2 queen beds, which is basically half of a cottage. The grounds were beautifully shaded with lush landscaping. The room wasn't very spacious, but was good enough for a short stay. "The woman at reception ( T.J. Gagle) was a delight, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She was fun to chat with. I also enjoyed the Starbucks machine in the lobby. The housekeeping staff was great and the location was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the sunsets over Florida Bay. I almost forgot but I really liked the chickens here and all over the Keys.
