"Nice little motel one block from the beach. All kinds of restaurants. Stayed the night before leaving for a cruise out of Port Everglades. Was only eight miles to port. Will definitely stay again. "

"Our stay was pleasant for my first trip to Key West, but if I return in the future I will not choose to stay here again. The staff was entirely lovely, accommodating, and hard working. Shuttle service from downtown did leave 10 minutes early (we watched them drive away - it wasn’t full), leaving us stranded for 70 minutes or on the hook for uber. Hotel bar was upbeat and fun, a good place to wait for shuttle departure. Pool was packed with kids/families every time I saw it (we didn’t use it) or heard it. For the high room price, this was very much a normal, clean, comfortable hotel room. Given the aging nature of the building’s exterior (island life is hard on structures, so I get it), I would have needed the room to be more luxurious to offset the price. This is not the fault of the hotel, but I stayed here because of beach proximity and I now know Key West is not actually a beach town (beach is small, narrow, close to street, very natural/not groomed, minimal walkable food options, rentable beach chairs are expensive and poor quality…not a place catering to the beach experience) Lesson learned. I’ll stay closer to the actual attractions of the island in Old Town if I return to KW."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. However, we did not love when house keeping came in our room. To preface, we didn’t have any dressers, counter space, or sink space to put items. Fine..I had everything organized, all my hair things. Clean clothes on one side of the suitcase and dirty on the other, all organized. Same for my husband. When house keeping came in they flipped our suitcases closed so it was just a mound of clothes. For why you ask? They didn’t even clean the floors so idk. They knocked my things off of my nightstand to the floor, I guess to wipe it down. All my hair items were on the BACK OF THE TOILET. I thought maybe it was to wipe the 1inch of sink space I had. Nope. Nothing was wiped down. Every time they came in, they took our towels that were hung up and didn’t replace them. We hung up the placard so they just would not come in. They still did. Other than that issue, the hotel was fine. It did the job. It was also quiet at night, which I didn’t think was possible in that area. Also, I ordered a drink and didn’t realize it was $60 until another guest let me know. Insane for a drink. "

"For a five star resort you’d think you’d at least have a mini fridge… stayed here 3 times, last being 4 years ago and it’s just not the same. Can tell they haven’t upkept with it and has become dated. Inflated price does not reflect its quality. "

"we stayed here for 1 night due to proximity of the airport and the cruise terminal. it fit the bill. the staff were very very nice. but this is not a 5 star property-- the walls are thin and it's fairly noisy. "
